For those that don’t know about Vib Ribbon, it’s an absolutely FASCINATING game! It came out on PS1, and the weird vector artstyle is like that because the game is so small it fits in the PlayStation RAM memory. Which meant that you could take the game CD out of the console and then insert any music CD and the game would generate levels from whatever songs you chose. It was such an innovation at the time!
I’ve just discovered my new favorite painter, Vittorio Reggianini – those smarter than myself probably already know of him as an Italian painter from the 1800s who made satin look even satiny-er than satin. I just cannot get over how much he loved painting women who were NOT. HAVING. A. MAN’S. SHIT.
But there was one hottie that everyone seemed to like, and I can’t blame them…

I’m pretty sure that the women in the background of the third picture are looking at a “lewd” painting. They were sometimes kept by upper class homes in the 1800s. They were kept hidden behind a curtain and only viewed for *ahem* “recreational purposes”. So basically, those ladies are looking at porn while their friend blithely humours Bouffant McShinypants.
This dude was an art god at 2 things:

and I’m here to admire both
This looks like the same group of ladies who are constantly chilling laughing at men I love it
Listen, Twilight could have been completely solved if they had just chosen a college over the Grand Forks high school. Like? Y’all look 18 forever? I know college seniors who look 16, it’s cool. They don’t eat? Man we’re poor too, y’all don’t see me eat ever. Y’all glitter in the sunlight? It’s cool I went to a rave once too, that glitter shit it hard to get off. Like c’mon. Why would you wanna be in high school for a milenia anyways.
Instead of having the conflict between Percy and Jason in HoO be entirely about alpha male posturing I’d have rather seen the conflict be over ideologies.
Example:
Jason does NOT believe the ends justify the means and Percy most definitely DOES.
I feel like I need to explain my thought process here, which I kinda already did in the comments but whatever.
From my perspective if Percy and Jason had the same goal – whether it was to save their friends or save a whole bunch of people – and the only way to complete that goal was to do something Horendous, Jason would NOT do the Horendous thing and Percy WOULD (or at least Jason would be slower to make the decision than Percy would).
On the flip side, if reaching their goal meant sacrificing one of their friends, even if it meant saving the world, Jason would be more likely to make the sacrifice call than Percy would.
